For most trims, options for a quad or a crew cab are offered, with the crew cab paired with short or long bed options while the quad cab includes the long bed.

Performance
Maximum towing capacity and payload capacity rank amongst the top attributes when looking at a truck, and the 2023 Ram 1500 is no exception. The base 3.6-liter V-6 can pull 7,730 pounds, while the diesel hauls 12,650 pounds. The highest maximum payload capacity checks in at 2,000 pounds, plenty to carry the gear you need. If you go with the HEMI 5.7-liter, it's slightly higher at 12,750 pounds, and the TRX will get you an 8,100-pound maximum towing capacity if you go with the HEMI.
If you want to spend significant time off-road, the TRX is the way to go. You get a performance exhaust system, upgraded brakes, an electronic locking differential, a specialized lifted suspension with Bilstein adaptive dampers, and upgraded engine cooling.
Interior
Inside the cabin of the 2023 Ram 1500, you will find a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Interior features will vary depending on the trim you choose, including heated and ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
